More Hakuoki
Today's post features more of Kazuki Yone's lovely artwork from the Hakuoki series of otome games. In the time between posts about this game, it was announced that an anime version is coming soon. I hope the anime can do justice to the game's awesome designs.
A couple of pics in this post (most notably the shirtless pic) were originally scanned by roronoa_zoro69 at livejournal.

Hot Wheels Battle Force 5
Hot Wheels Battle Force 5 is the latest CGI show based on the toy line. Although the "official" debut is this Saturday, I caught it earlier this week on Cartoon Network. It's a typical, fun action show with some nice animation from Nerd Corps (the company behind Storm Hawks).
What caught my eye were the guys on the show. My fave is the lead character, Vert Wheeler. He's the only character to get an anime-esque transformation scene when he gets his costume for the first time.
Below are a couple of clips from the series.

Until Death Do Us Part
Today's post is another request from the shoutbox. Hikaru asked me to do a post featuring Hjikata Mamoru, a character from the manga Shi ga Futari wo Wakatsu made, otherwise known as Until Death Do Us Part. After checking out more of the art, I thought the other guys should get some love too.
DOUBLE-S does the artwork for this series with Hiroshi Takashige providing the story. It's an action/adventure manga with a young girl who can see the future and a blind swordsman (the aforementioned Hjikata).
I haven't read this manga yet, but it looks like a cool series. As far as I know, it has yet to be licensed for release in America. As with a lot of good action manga, it's not a matter of if it's licensed so much as when.
Thanks to Hikaru for the request. There have been a lot of good ones lately. Please keep them coming in the shoutbox, comments, or online.

Anita Blake: Guilty Pleasures
In the post which featured artwork from the Anita Blake comic series The Laughing Corpse: Necromancer, a commenter mentioned that they liked the artwork from the previous series artist. That artist is Brett Booth, whose artwork was featured in a Thundercats comic post.
After checking out Booth's work on Anita Blake: Guilty Pleasures, the first Anita Blake comic series, I definitely like what I see. Even though he is no longer the artist on this series, I'd love to see him come back for some covers, pinups, or something like that.
Below, you'll find some more artwork from the series. Also, I have created a special archive with only the textless art, including a larger version of the picture at the top of the post.

Even More Gintama
Okay, this post actually deserves the "even more" title this time. Last time I posted some Gintama, I thought it was time for that title but it wasn't. Sorry that today's post is a bit quick and dirty. The image archive will be up a bit later.
Foolkiller
Foolkiller is a character in the Marvel Universe that kills bad people similar to the Punisher. There have been a few versions of the character but today's post focuses on Mike Trace, the version that appeared in Marvel's mature MAX line beginning in 2007.
Today's pics are from that first limited series and feature artwork by Lan Medina. There aren't a lot of pics in this post because most of the series is too rough to be posted here. Still, I figured that what was left definitely deserved posting.
