After finishing Fullmetal Alchemist months ago, many fans wonder what is next with Hiromu Arakawa asides that she will continue her other manga, Jyushin Enbu: Hero Tales. Until recently on the 19th issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday they revealed her new manga called, Silver Spoon!
Unlike her other works, the new series will take place in a high school setting in the Hokkaido prefecture of Japan. All that’s known so far is that the series will focus on a young boy who attends the school. Silver Spoon will be featured on the cover of Weekly Shonen Sunday and will have a full-color opening page.
The question that bothers fans right now is this, will this new title be as good as her previous work? Also, will this story that involves the classic high school setup work for her knowing that fans haven't seen her done something close with this genre? Well, that is for us to find out.
