GONZO (Saki, Rosario + Vampire, GateKeepers) announced at the Machi Asobi event that they are working alongside with KEI (Hatsune Miku character designer) on an all-new original anime called, Copihan! The project is a slapstick school comedy set in Tokyo in 2034. The official preview website and Twitter account have already launched.
The manga version of the project has already been running in Monthly Comic Rush magazine since the January 2011 issue, which shipped last November. This project is the third new anime that GONZO presented at the event; the other two are the previously announced Last Exile: Ginyoku no Fam (Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing-) and Nyanpire The Animation.
Copihan will be released this year.
