Actress Saki Kagami, best known for her roles in tokusatsu which includes Kamen Rider Kiva's Maya aka Queen (1986) and UltraSeven X's Saeki Elea has just announced in her blog that she will retire from show business.

She reveals on the said blog entry that she can't hardly remember some of her lines for a TV drama and emotional wounds such as that have accumulated over time.
While on her current break, she made up her mind to quit acting, effective at the end of July. Kagami said that she wants to privately return to a normal life and try ventures outside acting. She expressed her gratitude to her fans and those she worked with for all of their support up until now.
She debuted as an actress in the 2001 film entitled, Platonic Sex which is a biopic about the late adult actress Iijima Ai in which she topped from the 12,000 girls who auditioned in the movie. In the film, she starred alongside with Joe Odagiri, just fresh from his success in playing the role of Yusukue Godai aka Kamen Rider Kuuga. Her very last work will be the suspense movie, "Canary," which will be released this winter.
