Well that is for a new series of commercials along with two other actors namely, Masami Nagasawa and Nao Oomori in which the trio will promote the sport of Keirin or Bike Racing. These series of commercials will start airing on April 4th.
All three actors have little knowledge of the sport and the concept of the ad if for the three to learn about the sport. What makes this commercial series special and unique is that it will be all ad-libbed without a proper script. The first commercial will be footage of the press conference and the casts’ initial thoughts on the sport. It will be aired in three different versions: 15 seconds, 30 seconds, and 60 seconds versions.
Nagasawa commented, “When I read some articles about bike racing, it made me want to cheer for it more. Now I’m getting hooked on the greatness of this sport.”
Odagiri also remarked, “When I received the storyboard it was full of XXX and △△△ marks so it really sparked my interest and made me gear up for the job.” Considering that he is once played a Kamen Rider, to be exact Kuuga it would be interesting to see on how he will act in the series of commercials!
