All-Request Week 2010: Scryed's Straight Cougar

Welcome to All-Request Week 2010! This week, I'm handing the reins over to the readers by posting nothing but requests. You can still send your requests by e-mailing me, commenting on this post, or posting in the shoutbox.

The first request of the week comes from Kurokotsu, who wanted to see the character Straight Cougar from the show s-CRY-ed. I'm happy to oblige especially since (as this person pointed out) the last s-CRY-ed post had no pics with Straight Cougar in them.

s-CRY-ed

s-CRY-ed (or alternately s.CRY.ed or Scryed) is an anime series produced by Sunrise, the same company behind such popular anime as the Gundam series and Code Geass. It takes place in a future where select people have gained the ability to manipulate matter with just thought and willpower. They use this power to create powerful machines known as “Alters.”

You'll probably notice that most of the artwork in today's post feature only two characters. This is because their rivalry is the major subplot of the series. Ryuhou (greenish hair) and Kazuma (brown hair) stay rivals (even when they're on the same side) all the way until the end of the series.

s-CRY-ed is available on DVD in the U.S. from Bandai Entertainment.
