The Darkness is a comic series from Top Cow Productions that recently celebrated its 75th overall issue (over three volumes). It deals with Jackie Estacado, a hitman who is the current wielder of the evil force that lends the title to the series. The Darkness is passed down from father to son and once a new heir is born, the current heir dies.
The Darkness and Witchblade are connected (the forces consider each other enemies) but, of course, Witchblade bearers wear a lot less armor.
The pics in today's post come from Volumes 2 and 3 of the main Darkness series with most of the art penciled by either Dale Keown or Marc Broussard.
