Between December 15 and 27, the online portal, Cobs Online asked their male and female visitors about which anime villains that they do not want to be their sempai (translated as senior/elder)!
Among 270 male respondents in their 20s, these were the top choices:
1. Frieza (Dragon Ball Z) - 31.1%
2. Gian (Doraemon) - 16.3%
3. Kimio Nagasawa (Chibi Maruko-chan) - 14.1%
4. Nezumi Otoko (Gegege no Kitarō) - 13.3%
5. Light Yagami (Death Note) - 8.2%
5. Muska (Laputa: Castle in the Sky) - 8.2%
Among 574 female respondents in their 20s, these were the top choices:
1. Kimio Nagasawa (Chibi Maruko-chan) - 33.5%
2. Frieza (Dragon Ball Z) - 23.0%
3. Nezumi Otoko (Gegege no Kitarō) - 20.2%
4. Gian (Doraemon) - 16.4%
5. Muska (Laputa: Castle in the Sky) - 11.7%
Based on this survey, it seems that they have five characters common in both male and female surveys, with Frieza running somewhere around 1 and 2, with Laputa's Muska at the last place.
