Asides from becoming part of the 2011 Hana Kimi drama, Renn Kiriyama, popularly known for his role as Shotaro Hidari aka Kamen Rider W's other half and Kamen Rider Joker will star in two new movies!
In the first movie, "Kimi e" has Kiriyama playing an intelligent science student who carries an emotional wound from losing someone important to him. The movie is scheduled for release in September.
In the second movie, "Kichijoji no Asahina-kun" is based on a novel by Nakata Eiichi. Kiriyama plays a gentle young man who begins falling for a woman who already has a child. That film is scheduled for release on November 19.
Will Renn Kiriyama follow the footsteps of the past Riders before him who hit big in the Japanese movie and TV scene, namely, Joe Odagiri (Yusuke Godai/Kamen Rider Kuuga), Hiro Mizushima (Souji Tendou/Kamen Rider Kabuto) and Takeru Satoh (Ryotaro Nogami/Kamen Rider Den-O)?
