Yes, the top pic is not fooling you, they dated… well for the sake of their job. This is how it happened, their client, an ace baseball player of their school seemed to be taken care by a mysterious figure and because of this, and he asked help for the Bank.
Thanks to Ringo placing cameras in his room, we learned it was the girl that he helped and she is repaying him by doing him secretly his chores. So, Ringo arranged the two and since the girl is too shy, we end up seeing Ryoshi and Ryoko dating. However, this is just the icing on the cake. Why? Here it is.
Yes, Ryoko suddenly went lady-like thanks to a cat being stucked in the tree and Ryoko’s love for cute animals, which led the tree of the branch crack causing Ryoko and the cat to fell in the pond and caused her amnesia.
Kawaii~!
She had amnesia and our hunter is partly happy about it! Why partly? Ryoko had amnesia buut we saw what Ryoko was BEFORE she started lying to herself and act like Taiga Aisaka from Toradora! And so, their so-called “date” became finally a real date! And Ryoko became how can I say it, cute? Ryoshi is one lucky dude.
At the climax of the episode, Ryoko run away because of some scenes that you must find out yourself so that I would not keep spoiling it on you and bumps on that guy from the last two episodes that was mentioned in the previous episode. Since it felt like he is an important character, I will just call him in his name, Hitsujikai.
We learned that he is a guy that ruined Ryoko’s life back in middle school, that is why she moved to her current school. Because of the lies that Hitsujikai spread, it ruined Ryoko’s life. Great timing, Ryoshi appeared and two finally me and so, we saw this.
Badass.
And so, at this episode, we saw Ryoshi acted like a badass for the sake of his Ryoko. Aw, how sweet! Anyways, at the end of the episode, Ryoko had her memories back and thanks to Ringo, we learned that she lied that she forget the events when she had amnesia… and she was forced to wear a ribbon for Ringo to hide the truth.
The episode was too fun to watch! Aside that Ryoko went back to the Ryoko before the series started, we saw that Ryoko is just any regular girl back then. The date episode felt like it was one of the turning points of the series aside from the episode that is about Momo hunting for demons.
Aside from that, we learned that Ryoshi has potential to become a man that Ryoko deserves to have. The confrontation scene is enough to prove that Ryoshi might stop acting like a bum once Hitsujikai will be the focus of the following episodes that will reveal more about Ryoko’s past. I am sure; we will see more instances to see Ryoshi in this mode for than twice in a single episode.
As for Ringo, we just learned that she is INDEED an evil genius. Proof? This pic alone will speak for itself.
See?
