As seen in the preview of episode 12, it seems that Kazari will later join forces with Maki, and it seems that is true. Here are the latest scans and the tidbits regarding the Maki-Kazari Alliance (And, the term that I used earlier sounds like something that came from Survivor).
"We have to evolve as well."
Kazari agrees to work with Kiyoto Maki because he feels that simply collecting medals and rule the world would be boring and to satisfy their own respective "greed." Even if he is cooperating with Maki, he still can't trust humans with Core Medals and works by himself behind their backs.
The medals OOO and Kougami collect "together" are actually given to Maki, which Kazari is trying to aim for. While Maki is trying to use those medals to develop more weapons to OOO. However, he wants to try new possibilities with Kazari.
Because of Kazari leaving the group to join forces with Maki, it leaves Uva, Mezool and Gamel together to collect medals. Uva slowly adapts to the modern world, just like Ankh and Kazari.
Later, Mezool and Uva teams up to recover their Medals while the innocent Gamel ends up involving himself in some unexpected circumstances.
Mezool, who lost her medals to OOO Latoratar Combo has planned an attack towards OOO by using Uva, Gamel and the Swallowtail Butterfly Yummy to attack OOO. Though, their combination isn't perfect.
Also, according to 855 (the source of our source), the first one to become Birth in the upcoming film is a whole new character. It will later be handed down Gotou. It's just a rumor though, but 855 did know about Birth's 6 gadgets and a bunch of other stuff before they were announced in the toy magazines.
