We have just reported earlier that the Tokyo International Anime Fair 2011 is cancelled due to the earthquake. Adding to the list of list of events that will be cancelled due to the earthquake are: A FES - Anime Song Festival - & GO! FES 2011.
A FES – Anime Song Festival - was originally supposed to take place at Makuhari Messe Exhibition Hall in Chiba on March 26-27. While GO! FES 2011 is also held in the same event center on March 19-20.
The reason for this cancellation is that Japan is experiencing scheduled blackouts so the power supply at the event center would be uncertain also, public transportation is unstable right now. Moreover, the area around the venue is still experiencing aftershocks, so taking the safety of those attending into consideration, the event has been canceled.
The supposed guest for A FES - Anime Song Festival - are JAM Project, May'n, ALI PROJECT, GRANDRODEO and more. Details on how to refund your tickets to those who decided to attend any of these events can be found in their official website.
