Is this left or right? *Scratches head* I am really bad with directions...
In this episode, fans are confused why we have another Ankh and why we have a bird-type Yummy. Asides from it, we have a retired boxer, Cous Cossier is Spanish-themed, Gotou is a furry and Ankh continues his addiction with popsicles.
For starters, I love the Parrot Yummy! Unlike other Yummys who for instance of one of Uva’s Yummy that get’s someone’s skill and gives it to the blogger, he just lost his skills with no side effects. In the Parrot Yummy’s case, since the boxer had an injured left arm, he actually turns the left of its victims into stone after its “essence” is transferred into those feathers! This method of acquiring someone’s greed is unique and terrible now I am starting to wonder what if the desire of the person is to be rich? Will the bank that bird Yummy decided to steal will be turned into stone?
The Left Arm Ankh is something mysterious. Asides that he never speaks, he just grabs a victim and produces a Yummy and lets his Yummy do most of the work. Asides from the Left Arm Ankh, unlike most people who are victims by the Greeed, Ankh’s victims will never get easily be indulged with its desires. Heck, it took boxing gloves for the boxer to be totally indulged with his desire to return to the ring!
As for confusion, the thing that everyone fear is happening, the Ankh that we know seemed to switch sides due to the mystery of a bird Yummy. This is probably, one of the strong points of the series, we know that Ankh might be betraying the good guys at the near end of the series but him betraying almost at the middle of the series? Is it me or this series will reveal more about Ankh in the later episodes and I am starting to think that the rumor about a full body Ankh is real.
Overall, it was a great episode. Asides that we are slowly being revealed with Ankh’s identity and a possibility that the true Ankh MIGHT be like Exodia from YGO!, in which once all five parts of its body will meet, it can unleash its true power. Maybe that is the case with Ankh, he is so powerful that his body was sealed in different parts.
