Just recently, TV Tokyo has just launched the official website for the fifth film of Naruto Shippuden called, Naruto Shippuden: Blood Prison which also includes a 30-second trailer of the film. This film is the eighth overall film in the entire Naruto film series.
It is said that the film takes place after the Invasion of Pain Arc and it is about Naruto being arrested for assassinating 3 Kirigakure and 2 Iwagakure Jounins and lastly, for the surprise attack on the Raikage. Wait, what?!
Masahiko Murata will direct the film, with Akira Higashiyama writing the script. Tetsuya Nishio, Hirofumi Suzuki, Hiroyuki Yamashita, and Koji Yabuno are listed as character designers, while Yasuharu Takanashi and yaiba will compose the film's music. The film will open in theaters in Japan on July 30.
