K-ON! the Movie's Basic Story Premise Revealed!

Pony Canyon's PR representative, Teppei Nojima who uses the Twitter account, @nojitetsu reveals in his account the basic premise of the upcoming K-ON! the Movie, and it seems that the girls are taking a trip outside Japan!

In the movie, the girls of Ho-kago Tea Time will have a graduation trip abroad to England, United Kingdom. To those who don't have an idea on what is that place, this is were the Queen lives, the Beatles originated and that country loves tea. Guess the girls will not have a hard time adjusting! It was earlier revealed that the movie will have an original story.

K-ON! the Movie premieres this December 3rd in Japan.

Kamen Rider OOO WONDERFUL OST - Rocket Rider

As we all know, Kamen Rider Fourze first made his appearance on Kamen Rider OOO WONDERFUL Shogun and 21 Medals movie last August 6th and along with its release is the release of the official OST. Here is Kamen Rider Fourze's theme during the movie entitled, Rocket Rider which gives us a hint on how the music of the actual show will be.


This. This is glorious. The music fits well with the show's space-theme and it sounds like some song coming from a Daft Punk album... and I love Daft Punk!

Joh Ohara/Yellow Lion Returns on Gokaiger!

Kazuhiko Nishimura who plays Joh Ohara aka Yellow Lion in Choujuu Sentai Liveman is confirmed to return in the Liveman tribute episode on Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger!

The confirmation was made in his blog that he just had wardrobe fitting for the show, possibly to recreate his character's "Miami Vice-style" outfit. The Liveman tribute episode is directed by Katsuya Watanabe. This would be the second confirmation of a pre-Zyuranger Sentai tribute episode being made. The first was with Toshihide Wakamatsu's confirmation of Gai Yuki/Black Condor's return on Gokaiger.

Also, the release date for the Gokaiger - Goseiger - Super Sentai: 199 Hero Great Battle DVD is confirmed to be released this late November! So expect fansubs to be released during December.

Alice Hirose Stars in Lost Harmony!

Alice Hirose (Kamen Rider Movie Wars 2010's Yuriko Misaki/Tackle) is recently announced to be the lead star the new horror film entitled, Lost Harmony alongside with Ayako Yoshitani and Mitsuki Takahata!

Hirose, who debut back in 2008, has stared in four movies and one of her dreams as an actress is to be the lead star of a film. She said, "When it was decided [that I would be the lead star], I was extremely happy."

"Lost Harmony" focuses on seven students and a teacher who are part of a chorus club at a all female High School. The crew decides to go to a training camp near the lake as a part of their club activities. There they encounter a series of eerie and bizarre phenomenon.

Hirose, who plays the club president in this movie commented, "There is even a scene where I got so scared that I cried. Although I was supposed to be acting, I ended up crying for real." She added, "It’s a deep film about friendship and envy between various high school students," and explained the contents of this upcoming movie with confidence.

Lost Harmony is directed by Toki Yoshimasa and it is set to be released in Japanese theatres this December.

Here's the full version of Te o Tsunagō ~Matsuken × Kamen Rider Samba (Let's Hold Hands ~Matsuken × Kamen Rider Samba) by Ken Matsudaira feat. Eiji & Ankh which is the team song of Kamen Rider OOO WONDERFUL Shogun and 21 Medals movie which will be released in Japan this August 6th.


According to its Wikipedia entry, while involving rap elements, the song mainly uses elements from Ken Matsudaira's Matsuken Samba song series that blend traditional-style Japanese vocals with Brazilian samba music and use several Brazilian Portuguese words and phrases in the lyrics. Negima & Hayate the Combat Butler Movie Trailer

The official website for the double-billed Negima! Magister Negi Magi: Anime Final and Hayate the Combat Butler! Heaven is a Place on Earth films began streaming a new combined full trailer of the movie.


More details about the films, here. Even both films are published in different magazines, this double-billing was made possible since both shows aired at the same TV station. Both films will open on August 27.

Kamen Rider OOO Burakawani Combo Movie Debut

Here's Kamen Rider OOO's movie-exclusive Combo, Kamen Rider OOO Burakawani Combo in action as seen in the recent Kamen Rider OOO and Gokaiger TV special. The said Combo will debut on the Kamen Rider OOO WONDERFUL Shogun and 21 Medals movie this August 8th.


This orange Combo utilizes the Cobra, Kame (Turtle) and Wani (Crocodile) Core Medals and is often referred to as the "Lost Combo" after the defeat of the alchemist, Gara 800 years ago. In this scene, OOO is fighting the Nue Yummy which he later defeated using the "Waring Ride" Scanning Charge.

Gokaiger Movie: The Flying Ghost Ship Special ED 3

Here is another Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger's special ending sequence which featured clips for the upcoming Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger the Movie: The Flying Ghost Ship which will premiere on August 6th in Japan. The new ending sequence was first seen on the show's 22th Episode entitled, "A Promise on a Shooting Star."


In The Flying Ghost Ship, the Gokaigers are looking for the unbelievable treasure, the "God Eye." Searching for it, they boarded a ghost ship owned by the Ghost Captain, Los Dark and are forced to battle. Marvelous and the other 4 Gokaigers are left in hell!

In the latest preview, we saw the Gokaigers transformed into the Gorangers and had a baseball match with Baseball Mask. Also, we also saw them pranced into Battle Fever J and used their finisher, Penta Force. I wonder if they did the extremely awkward pose before executing it? Lastly, the G3 Princess cheering on our heroes!

Asides from that, the preview for the next episode entitled, "Peoples' Lives are the Future of the World" was seen. Navi tells them to that, "kindness will lead to a meeting." Luka and Ahim who are out in town meet the paramedic, Matsuri Tatsumi, the former Go Pink of GoGo-V. In front of this veteran woman soldier, Luka and Ahim try and impress! Basco also makes his return as he summon Rio, Mele and Zubaan to fight the girls! His monster, Firedroid Meran, later appears!

The episode features GokaiYellow and GokaiPink transforming into a group of sibling related warriors. Namely, MagiYellow and MagiPink, Five Yellow and Five Pink and lastly, Go Yellow and Go Pink.

5 Greeeds, Eiji's Mutation and OOO Movie Updates

The end is almost here and as we saw in the previous episode, Dr. Maki is undergoing rapid mutations as a Greeed and so does Eiji. Now with Ankh, what will happen to the series right now? Here's more info about the upcoming exciting episodes of Kamen Rider OOO!

Spoiler Alert! Read at your own risk!

Maki who has 5 purple Core Medals is slowly turning into a Greeed together with Eiji. Although they are in the same state, they have different goals. The purple Core Medals affect humans differently in the way they fight. "When the rampaging Greeeds have finished swallowing Earth, I'll exterminate them," Dr. Maki said.

With Ankh coming back, the Greeeds are joining forces. However, they all have their own goals. When Ankh tells the other Greeeds that the purple Core Medals have the power to destroy other Core Medals, they join forces. "If you don't want to disappear, join me," Ankh said.

Although they joined forces, Kazari starts to feel uneasy working with Ankh. He doesn't like the fact that Ankh is becoming the leader of the Greeeds. Kazari decides to fight against Ankh.

In order to counter the Greeeds, Eiji seeks help from Kougami. "Welcome to the King's Room!" Kougami leads them to the basement of the building. The room is full of relics from 800 years ago. Kougami tells him the way to not let the purple Core Medals control Eiji.

The Birth System gets destroyed. As there's no one left to fix the system, Gotou heads over to the lab and decides to use the prototype Birth. Also, In order to fight the Greeeds, Kougami Foundation has become active again. New weapons will appear. The last part about Kougami being active again might not be true, but who knows?!

Summaries for episodes 43 and 44 found in this link since the link has the episode summaries for episode 43 and 44 and it better compared to what my source posted. Anyways, here are the summaries for episodes 45 and 46.

Episode 45
After a massive fight with the Greeeds, Eiji loses tons of Cores. Eiji and Gotou plans a sudden attack at the Greeds. Mezool will soon receive great power, her targets is mothers and their children. Later on, Mezool collects all 9 of her Core Medals and is complete, she is now full of desire.

Episode 46
Gamel starts to turn people into Cell Medals, even Gotou as Birth can't stop him. Suddenly, a man appears, and it turned out to be Akira Date! Maki appears in front of Eiji again, he uses his medals to do something incredible! Mezool is destroyed, Gamel becomes complete and goes berserk.

Also, more things are confirmed about the Greeeds, Kazari will disappear on episode 44 and Uva disappears on episode 47.

Asides from some series news, we have some updates about Kamen Rider OOO related movies, first up is the official soundtrack of Kamen Rider OOO WONDERFUL Shogun and 21 Medals. The official soundtrack reveals on its 17th track that Eiji will transform into Kamen Rider Birth! The song is obviously entitled, "Transform! Eiji Birth! (変身！ 映司バース)" Speaking of the OOO WONDERFUL movie, Shu Watanabe who plays Kamen Rider OOO/Eiji Hino asked the viewers of the advance screening of the movie not to tweet spoilers!

More movie news, the release date for OOO - Den-O - All Riders: Let's Go KAMEN RIDERS DVD and Blu-ray is on October 21st! As for the corresponding net movies, it would be on August 8th. Pre-orders for the Let's Go KAMEN RIDERS DVD & Blu-ray are now up in CDJapan. Also, a limited edition Collector's Pack DVD & Blu-ray for the movie is now up for pre-order at CDJapan.

What is Kids' Favorite Ghibli Works?

Mamakoe ("Mom's Voice"), a Japanese website supporting mothers with young children, hosted a second annual survey to discover kids' favorite Ghibli movies. This year, 323 mothers with children up to 9 years old participated in the online questionnaire from July 7 through 13.

The majority of mothers believed their children's favorite Ghibli work was My Neighbor Totoro, which earned 43% of all votes. Here's the full results:

Ankh Returns, Final Form and OOO Movie Status

With Kamen Rider OOO nearing its end and Fourze's gadgets are making its presence, more updates for the upcoming movie and the series surfaced online! And this time, we have the update for the next episode and something that involves questions about the final form and the movie.

Episode 43: The Vulture, the Confrontation, and Ankh Returns - July 24
A couple is sitting at a park and a white Yummy is born out of the male. The Yummy eventually grows into the Vulture Yummy.


The Vulture Yummy starts to immediately go after his targets. Meanwhile, Ankh takes over Shingo's body again. But with one of his Core Medals broken, he cannot fully recover anymore. Ankh leaves Eiji and heads to Dr. Maki, what is his aim...?

Episode 44: N/A - July 31
Ankh recruits Kazari, Uva, Gamel, Mezool to snatch the purple medals inside Eiji's body. Gotou and Hina are worried about Eiji, who's slowly growing into a Greeed, so they ask Kougami for help. Kougami tells Eiji to look at some important information about Core Medals.

Gotou and Hina notice that Eiji is not feeling well, they decided to go to Kougami's office and ask him about the secret of the Medals. Both of them are very worried about Eiji's condition because he is turning into a Greeed, they want Eiji to revert back to normal.

Kougami brings them down to the basement... He starts to talk about the history of the Medals. Finally, he tells them the way to stop Eiji from turning into a Greeed is: "DESIRE!"

Also, contrary to popular belief that OOO Putotyra Combo is the final form, a recent interview on the Otonafami No.35 magazine on producer, Naomi Takebe reveals that there is no such thing as a "final form."

Over the past years, there was a "final form" for Riders to end the series. This time the 6 Combos of OOO have appeared quite a lot. In OOO the Combo change is the main gimmick, and this gimmick will be continuously used in the series.

More on the TV series, Eiji, Ankh and Hina's relationship will have a big change. Eiji eventually will have to fight Ankh, although they are working together now. Also, their aims are different. Ankh wants a complete body, while Eiji doesn't have any desire. All these and Kougami's aim will be finally revealed.

In addition, Ms. Takebe reveals the details about the upcoming OOO Summer Movie, Kamen Rider OOO WONDERFUL Shogun and 21 Medals takes place.

• The movie is set in about events that happened in June in the TV series. But it will be aired in August, so it is different from the series. People will be reminded of the 'good times,' where Date is Birth, and Gotou is the support.
• Because Eiji has travelled around many countries before, the movie is trying to create an atmosphere in a foreign country.

'The Making of' Kamen Rider OOO WONDERFUL and Gokaiger the Movie: Flying Ghost Ship

The short "the making of" feature of the upcoming Kamen Rider OOO and Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger Summer movies has been released! Both films will be released on August 6th in both regular and 3D airings in Japan.

Kamen Rider OOO the Movie: WONDERFUL Shogun and 21 Core Medals, Kougami revives Gara, an ancient alchemist who is believe to have created the Core Medals and wants to be the "king of the world." It's up to Eiji and the gang to defeat her using the "lost medals" also known as the BuraKaWani Combo. The countdown for the end of the world begins.

The feature also played clips of the theme song of the movie called, Let's Hold Hands ~ Matsuken x Kamen Rider Samba ~ by Ken Matsudaira, as Yoshimune Tokugawa, with Shu Watanabe and Ryosuke Miura as Eiji and Ankh respectively.

Renn Kiriyama Stars in Two New Movies!

Asides from becoming part of the 2011 Hana Kimi drama, Renn Kiriyama, popularly known for his role as Shotaro Hidari aka Kamen Rider W's other half and Kamen Rider Joker will star in two new movies!

In the first movie, "Kimi e" has Kiriyama playing an intelligent science student who carries an emotional wound from losing someone important to him. The movie is scheduled for release in September.

In the second movie, "Kichijoji no Asahina-kun" is based on a novel by Nakata Eiichi. Kiriyama plays a gentle young man who begins falling for a woman who already has a child. That film is scheduled for release on November 19.

Will Renn Kiriyama follow the footsteps of the past Riders before him who hit big in the Japanese movie and TV scene, namely, Joe Odagiri (Yusuke Godai/Kamen Rider Kuuga), Hiro Mizushima (Souji Tendou/Kamen Rider Kabuto) and Takeru Satoh (Ryotaro Nogami/Kamen Rider Den-O)? We will about to find out.

Batman's Goyer Writes for Godzilla Remake!

David S. Goyer best known for his work in Nolan's Batman Trilogy is set to rewrite the script for the Godzilla remake according to the reports from The Deadline. Currently, he is writing for Zack Snyder's upcoming Superman reboot entitled, Man of Steel.

David Callaham already wrote a script for the planned Godzilla remake. If the film is made, Warner Brothers and TOHO will distribute it in their respective countries. Director Gareth Edwards and Legendary Pictures producers Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are also attached to the project.

Legendary Pictures indicated that its version will hew closer to the original 1954 film rather than Sony's 1998 Godzilla remake.

Gokaiger Movie: The Flying Ghost Ship Special ED

Here is Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger's special ending sequence which featured clips for the upcoming Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger the Movie: The Flying Ghost Ship which will premiere on August 6th in Japan. The new ending sequence was first seen on the show's 20th Episode entitled, "The Lost Forest."


In The Flying Ghost Ship, the Gokaigers are looking for the unbelievable treasure, the "God Eye." Searching for it, they boarded a ghost ship owned by the Ghost Captain, Los Dark and are forced to battle. Marvelous and the other 4 Gokaigers are left in hell!

In the preview for the movie, we saw the giant ghost ship in which the climatic battle between Fake GokaiOh and GokaiOh commenced in which we saw GokaiOh swinging (!) in one of the ship's ropes!

Asides from that, the preview for the next episode entitled, "The Heart of an Adventurer" was seen. In the episode, the former BoukenRed and Chief called Satoru Akashi shows up!! Out of nowhere, Satoru is seen standing on the GokaiGalleon.

He's trying to retrieve the precious "The Heart of Hades," but for that he needs help from the Gokaigers. But Zangyack and the Jaryuu clan are also after the Heart of Hades and it seems that this will cause Ryuuwon's revival.

Jun Kazu is Kamen Rider Eternal Red Flare!

Now that the rental DVD copy for Kamen Rider W RETURNS: Kamen Rider Eternal has been released, some fans decided to screencap some scenes from the movie instead of uploading a clip of the movie in YouTube. One of those screencapped scenes is Kamen Rider Eternal Red Flare reverting back into Jun Kazu.

Kazu is the one who is Red Flare. He uses the Eternal Memory, says something about it being incomplete, reverts back to human form and uses the Utopia Memory. When Kazu is defeated, the other Foundation X members say "We still need you."

Nintama Rantaro Premiere Event

Seishiro Kato, the star of the upcoming Nintama Rantaro live-action movie, made an appearance with his fellow cast members at a premiere event in Kanagawa Rasona Kawasaki Plaza. Kato who plays the role of a ninja in training, Rantaro mentions that his dream role is a ninja!

He comments, "My future dream was to become a ninja so I was very happy. It was my first time playing the lead role so I was nervous, but the shooting was fun." Sporting his ninja costume he shouted "A ninja is to have guts!" with 100 children in attendance.

Aside from Kato, fellow ninja trainee Roi Hayashi and Fuuta Kimura, as well as adult cast members, Takahiro Miura, Rei Dan, Hiroki Matsukata, Yuma Ishigaki, and director, Takeshi Miike made an appearance at the premiere event. Shooting took place last summer in the record breaking heat in Kyoto and Miura commented, "It was very hot being surrounded by all these kids but they gave me power and energy to make it through."

Matsukata, who had a lot of special make up for his role as Happosai Hieta, commented, "3 hours, and on top of that, it was heavy, but I was able to have fun," and even joking, "The kids were so noisy."

Director Miike commented, "Mainly the kids worked really hard but Happosai Hieta and Headmaster’s (Mikijiro Hira) serious battle at the hot spring, was a scene I was so glad we got to shoot. It was a man’s battle to be fought" With confidence he also commented, "This summer there are big productions like Harry Potter and Pokemon coming out, but you will be able to say ‘Nintama Rantaro’ was number one."

France's Japan Expo Awards was announced on Paris last Thursday. The awards are divided by six categories, namely: Manga, Anime, Asian Film, Videogame, J-Music and Awards of Horror.

Kamen Rider OOO: The End is Almost Here

With only 9 more episodes left for Kamen Rider OOO and Lost Ankh growing up, more info about his domination as the "supreme" Ankh is finally revealed, also based on the new info, it seems that Dr. Maki and Eiji is starting to mutate because of the purple Core Medals found in their bodies. And to top it all off, more info regarding the Summer movie!

Lost Ankh who seemed like a baby when he first showed, has started to grow slowly as he's hanging around the Greeeds. He has become a lot more assertive and is focusing on his other self. Kazari and the other Greeeds are suddenly reminded by the other Ankh after seeing Lost Ankh's sudden changes. The purple Core Medals are starting to eat Eiji from the inside. Will Maki become the dinosaur Greeed called Giru? Or will it be Eiji?

The two Ankhs have finally merged into one Ankh, but for some reason a part of the head is still missing. Meaning Ankh is far from complete. Ankh once said that the weaker Ankh would lose control of the body. Will Ankh regain full control? Or is it Lost Ankh? Also, could this mean that Ankh's 10 Core Medal still exist?

Episode 40: The Control, the Birthday Party, & Disappearing Ankh
Now that Cous Cousier has been forcefully closed down, they have to celebrate Ankh's birthday by the river. But closing down Cous Cousier won't stop Chiyoko.

Another thing, here are some additional info about the upcoming Kamen Rider OOO: WONDERFUL Shogun and 21 Medals movie which reveals us other facts about a king and Gara. The king at that time was so afraid of Gara and the orange Core Medals. Thus, he decided to seal her away along with the medals. Could this king be the same as the one that was mentioned in Kamen Rider OOO Episode 30?! The one who gone berserk after absorbing all medals?

Cous Cousier was already having an Edo Fair, the group easily transitioned to the Edo era with their clothes. Meanwhile, the Nue Yummy was able to defeat OOO, when Eiji was trying to protect Hina. But at that time... Yoshimune arrives and tells Eiji to use the 3 medals he has.

In addition, Gara's monster form has been revealed. She calls herself the "true OOO". All the remaining leaked images and scans can be found in a collage below:

Here's the first solid info about the upcoming Kamen Rider OOO HBV entitled, Quiz and Dance and TakaGaruBa. In the HBV, Hina finds the Kangaroo Medal but wants to use thus she challenges Eiji and Ankh to various quizzes and dances.
