Puella Magi Madoka Magica Portable PSP Promo

The first promo of the upcoming Puella Magi Madoka Magica Portable game for the PSP has been released in their official website! The promo features the gameplay, and the new animation sequences made especially for the game.


The game is available in Regular Contract Pack for 6480 yen that contains the game and a DVD with the same contents from the Blu-ray Edition and is also available in Limited Contract Box.

The Limited Contract Box is available for 11900 yen it contains the game, Madoka Kaname Figma School Uniform Version, a special Blu-ray Disc, a Kyubey-shaped pouch, HomuHomu handkerchief, a special clear card and a box illustrated by SHAFT and this version will be limited to the number of orders received.

And to those who will pre-order either of the two editions, you will receive a bonus film strip of the newly created transformations scenes for the game and a custom PSP theme code. Puella Magi Madoka Magica Portable is to be released this March 15, 2012 for the PSP.

Maaya Sakamoto & Kenichi Suzumura, Now Married

It's been announced that singer/voice actress Maaya Sakamoto (Evangelion, Ouran High School Host Club, Arakawa Under the Bridge, Escaflowne, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, Final Fantasy VII Advent Children) and voice actor Kenichi Suzumura (Kamen Rider Den-O, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, D.Gray-man, Ouran High School Host Club, Final Fantasy VII Advent Children) got married on August 8th.

Sakamoto stated, "In my life, I’ve always prioritized what I love, what made me happy and comfortable, and tied them to my future. Therefore, even with marriage, it’s something I wanted from the bottom of my heart, so I responded to those feelings." She continued, "When I’m with Mr. Suzumura, I feel calm. He is a kind person. For me to sing, act, and live as myself from here on, it’s hopeful to have a reliable partner by my side. Please watch over us warmly."

Meanwhile, Suzumura commented, "I am given strength to be with a woman that’s full of intelligence and energy. I’m already a merry person, but I laugh even more with her. She is an irreplaceable person who I love to spend time with."

He also wrote, "It’s been 17 years since I started voice acting. With this work, it is necessary to have many feelings. The moment my heart is moved in my day-to-day life turn to provisions, and it changes my expressions. I am certain that my new life will bring more provisions. What kind of things are awaiting me? What kind of expressions and emotions will I encounter? For a happy future, I will do my best to live as myself. I will do my best to deliver that happiness to someone with my expressions."

To those who still don't have the idea who they are, to put it simply, Aerith and Zack of Final Fantasy VII got married, or Lunamaria and Shinn of Gundam SEED got married and to Ouran High fans, Haruhi married Hikaru! From all of us here, congratulations!

Puella Magi Madoka Magica Portable Update

We have previously reported that Puella Magi Madoka Magica Portable for the PSP is on the works and recently, Famitsu posted screens and additional details about the game! In the addition, the official website for the game is now open.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica Portable is an adventure/dungeon RPG game being developed by Bandai Namco Games in collaboration with Nitro+. The producers are Yusuke Tomizawa (God Eater) and Nitro+'s Yoshinao Doi (Steins;Gate). Anime scenario writer Gen Urobuchi is credited with project assistance and scenario supervision. SHAFT is in charge of animation production for the game while Gekidan Inukare are credited with design assistance for the witch designs they are providing for the game.

Adventure Mode

The adventure part of the game is where the story progresses and where you talk to the characters in fully voiced scenes as you make choices on the map, leading you to the 3D dungeon RPG part where you take your magical girl(s) and take down the witch and her familiars.

The story is based on the anime, but also contains parts that were not in the anime, including a new witch. Depending on choices in game, there are multiple scenarios and multiple endings. Some situations may have possible outcomes which differ from that of the anime.

There are two new transformation scenes being animated by SHAFT for the game in addition to other scenes from the anime which will be included. One is for Madoka, which was not shown in the anime, and a new one for Homura while wearing glasses.

Here's GokaiRed Gold Mode in action as seen in DiceOh Arcade game. It is not sure if we will see GokaiRed wearing GokaiSilver's Gold Mode armor in the main series. The video also features GokaiSilver in action.


Too bad, GokaiRed Gold Mode wasn't seen using the Gokai Legend Dream finisher in this video.

Kamen Rider Ganbaride Game Featuring Fourze!

Here's the latest Kamen Rider Battle: Ganbaride 01 game which features Kamen Rider Fourze and most importantly, the gameplay for the game and the sound effects of the Astro Switches.


The entire commercial was narrated by Nobuyuki Hiyama (Highschool of the Dead's Kouta Hirano) who is also Kamen Rider Fourze's show narrator. The commercial features the new features of the game, such as the triple tag team feature and Fourze's Switches in action. It also features new cards in the form of OOO Burakawani Combo and Agito Shining Form.

Madoka Magica Portable PSP Game Announced!

The 500th issue of Dengeki PlayStation magazine will announce that Puella Magi Madoka Magica will have an adventure dungeon role-playing game for the PSP and it set to be released this March 15, 2012!

Yusuke Tomizawa (God Eater) and Yoshinao Doi (Steins;Gate, Madoka Magica) are producing the Puella Magi Madoka Magica Portable game, and the anime's head writer Gen Urobuchi (Fate/Zero) is collaborating on the project's planning and supervising the scenario. Bandai Namco Games will publish this new game while studio SHAFT will be in-charge with the animation like they did with the original anime.

It is rumored that the game will feature new witches, Mami having new special attacks and the first person is not Madoka Kaname, the protagonist of the original anime.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica Portable will be released in Standard Editions priced at 6480 yen and Limited Editions which includes a Figma, handkerchief, illustration collection and much more freebies priced at 11900 yen.

Mega Man - Still Important to Capcom

After the cancellation of Mega Man Legends 3 and Mega Man not being part of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, many fans wondered if Capcom will put the Mega Man brand to rest. Recently, Capcom's Christian Svensson answered during a video Q & A all the questions that bothering fans regarding Mega Man.

"Oh, absolutely not. The frustrating thing for me is I have nothing I can hold up and say, ‘Oh, here’s this other Mega Man thing’. Absolutely, we have other things… Mega Man is a very important brand to Capcom. We get questions [like] ‘Are you guys trying to kill the brand?’

"No, absolutely not. It will continue to be a very important brand for us. I wish I had something I could hold and display for you that that’s the case, but I don’t right now. But super, super important to us; I do want to express that."

He also answered the question regarding the cancellation of Mega Man Legends 3, he says, "The decision was not made lightly. Certainly, we knew there would be a lot of upset people and in spite of that, we still had to make that decision. That doesn’t mean we don’t care about you at all. I unfortunately can’t get into the details of it, but it was not a decision that was made lightly and I can tell you that no one is happy about that decision, but it was a decision that had to be made."

Games, Episode Rumors & Fourze Updates

As Kamen Rider OOO is close to its end, more rumors coming from 2ch about Kamen Rider Fourze's upcoming episodes surfaced the web! And as a bonus, Kamen Rider Fourze is part of the All Kamen Rider Generation game, and we have the codes to get this guy!

Please take rumors with a grain of salt!

Episode 1: Youth Switch On!
One day, an unthinkable bad boy transfers to Amanogawa High School. He aims to befriend every single student attending to the school. But the school is filled with weird people and this task is harder than it seems. He's suddenly called out by his classmate, Kengo Utahoshi.

Episode 2: I'm Kamen Rider!
After Gentaro saved Kengo, he entrusts the Astro Switches to Gentaro. A girl by the name of Yuuki Joujima catches a glimpse of Gentaro fighting as Fourze. Later, Gentaro is taken to outer space.

Episode 3: Let's Fly, Launcher!
Gentaro creates the Kamen Rider club. However, Kamen Rider Fourze itself is supposed to be a secret. Thus he's not even allowed to say that Fourze is a Kamen Rider. Gentaro who's not happy about that decides to hold an assembly in front of the whole school to spread the word of his club. A mysterious man holding a switch was seen standing in the corner of the gym.

In the game, All Kamen Rider: Rider Generation, you can unlock Kamen Rider Fourze by entering this code: X2F8-4V75-563H-7833. Also, a clip surfaced online which featured his three Modules and their specific sounds, namely: Rocket, Drill and Launcher.


The clip features the tag team between OOO and Fourze in which at the end, OOO ends the game in OOO Putotyra Combo. Too bad, Fourze doesn't have any special skills.

Kamen Rider Fourze premieres this September 4 while the All Kamen Rider Generation Nintendo DS game has been released recently! Grab your copies in either Play-Asia or CDJapan while supplies last!

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact PSP Free Game Demo, Released!

Namco Bandai just released a demo for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact in Japan and you don’t even need to log on to PlayStation Network to get it! The actual game will be released on October 11 in North America and October 20 in Japan.

In the downloadable demo, it includes one stage of Ultimate Road (the game's story mode) and a taste of tag missions. You can use Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, Guy, Rock Lee, and Gaara in tag mission mode. As of now, Namco Bandai have not announced an English demo.

For you to get the demo copy of the game, go to this website and click either Download A (Red) or Download B (Blue). Then, once you are done downloading the .zip file, extract those files and copy it to your PSP and you are now ready for some Naruto action!

Super Sentai Battle: Ranger Cross Game Trailer

The first trailer of the upcoming Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger game, Super Sentai Battle: Ranger Cross has been released! The trailer also features a gameplay video which features this game's Musou-style gameplay. The trailer also reveals that the Go-Ongers and the Shinkengers will use voice actors for their voices and not the actual actors.


In the game, the Gokaigers will fight a villain made for this game called, Devil Jark which will stop them to obtain the "greatest treasure of the universe." Asides from the Gokaigers, you can use four other teams; namely: Goseiger, Shinkenger, Go-Onger and Goranger. Players first fight the villain on foot and if you have already beaten it, you must fight his giant form with your team's mecha.

Super Sentai Battle: Ranger Cross will be released this September 8th for the Nintendo Wii.

Resident Evil 6 Logo, Revealed!

One guy who was able to attend a behind-closed-doors Capcom press conference leaked an image of the upcoming Resident Evil 6 game! Accordingly, more details will be revealed on September 15th, the day of the Tokyo Game Show.

To those who are wondering what platform is this game, sorry to disappoint but it was never revealed on the said press conference.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Announced!

CAPCOM has just recently announced Ultimate Marvel vs. CAPCOM 3 in Japan and in the US in November for both the PlayStation 3 and the XBOX 360! The new game is an upgraded version of the original Marvel vs. CAPCOM 3, which was released in Japan and in the United States in February.

Asides from the original roster of characters from the previous game, the new game will include 12 new characters, including the returning Strider Hiryu and Firebrand on the CAPCOM side, and Ghost Rider and Hawkeye on the Marvel side.

Voltron: The Game Trailer

IGN has just recently started streaming THQ's Voltron: The Game on YouTube and its official website. The game is based on the adaptation of Toei's Beast King GoLion and Armored Fleet Dairugger XV called, Voltron: Defenders of the Universe which ran for 124 episodes.


In Voltron: The Game a user can play the game solo, or a team of up to five online players can play simultaneously or two players can cooperate offline. Each Lion has its own strengths, resistances, and elemental attacks. When formed as Voltron, players will have to work together to wield his enormous sword.

The game will include clips from the animated series and recreate some big moments that fans should recognize like the discovery of the lions and the first formation of Voltron. It's described as an action adventure game.

Voltron: The Game will be released this October 25th on the Playstation Network and the following day on Xbox Live Arcade. The game cost $10.

Mega Man Legends 3/Rockman DASH 3 Cancelled

Sad news for Mega Man Legends fans who eagerly anticipated for this game because the game developer, CAPCOM has just announced that they will cancel the Mega Man Legends 3 project known in Japan as Rockman DASH 3.

Reasons for the cancellation of the project is that it didn't mean the certain criteria they had for the game thus leading to the said decision. The publisher says the decision is not related to the departure of Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune. Also, plans for the release of the downloadable prototype version is also cancelled and will stop updating the Legends 3 Development Room website starting this August 19th at 12pm Japan time.

Mega Man's design in the game that was chosen by the fans.

"We can only express our deepest apologies to all of you who have lent us your unending support, including participation in the Mega Man Legends 3 Developer Room. On behalf of the entire Legends team, please accept our sincere apology for failing to meet the expectations of the fans," a Capcom employee wrote.

Digimon World: Re:Digitize PSP Game Revealed!

The September issue V Jump magazine is confirms that Bandai Namco Games will release the Digimon World: Re:Digitize "digital monster-raising role-playing game" for the PSP system next year.

This will be the first Digimon game for the PSP. The price has yet to be determined. Suzuhito Yasuda, the illustrator of Durarara!!, is designing the characters.

The main character is a 14-year-old boy whose hobby is riding road bikes. Thanks to a certain incident, he is lost in the Digital World — the world where the data creatures known as Digimon live. (The Digital World happens to have a central tower similar to a building in the real world.) Agumon, a Digimon who breathes fire from his mouth, is the protagonist's first partner.

Bandai Namco Games has a online countdown timer that will end on Thursday.

Gundam: New Gihren's Ambition PSP Trailer

The official website for Mobile Suit Gundam: New Gihren's Ambition has just released the the latest promo for the game in 500Kbps or 1Mbsps bandwidth. The game will ship for the PSP on August 25 for 6,280 yen (about US$79).


In this update to the venerable Gihren's Ambition line of Gundam games, the player can choose to control a mobile suit on the battlefield as a pilot (Amuro — first Gundam or Char's Counterattack version, Quess, Char, or Gaia), lead a unit as a commander (Char, Dozle, or Tianem), or oversee an entire force as a supreme commander (Gihren or Revil).

In addition to covering earlier Gundam titles such as the first Gundam anime and Char's Counterattack, the new game will cover Mobile Suit Gundam UC.

Kamen Rider Ganbaride Trailer... with Fourze!

We have previously reported that Kamen Rider Fourze's Astro Switches will replace Kamen Rider OOO's O-Medals for the Ganbaride game and just recently, the first promo video for the new and improved Kamen Rider Ganbaride game has been revealed!


Asides from the use of the Astro Switches you can now have 3 vs. 3 fights! In the trailer, we saw Kamen Rider 1, OOO and W versus Rising Ultimate Kuuga, Shadow Moon and Shocker Rider in which at the end, our heroes won. At the end of the video, they revealed how Fourze will look like in the game and the new Ganbaride machine during Fourze's duration.

All Kamen Rider: Rider Generation Latest Trailer

The official website for the upcoming Nintendo DS game, All Kamen Rider: Rider Generation (オール仮面ライダー　ライダージェネレーション) has just updated with their second promo video which features all the Riders that will appear in the game (less Birth) along with their respective finishers!


All Kamen Rider: Rider Generation is in celebration for Kamen Rider's 40th Anniversary. It is a side scrolling action game which features all Kamen Riders from Rider 1 to OOO, with the addition of Kamen Rider Birth. You can choose 2 of your favorite Kamen Rider and go through familiar stages and fight the various enemies throughout the 25 series.


All Kamen Rider Generation will be released August 4, 2011 for 5040 yen. A limited edition containing 28 different slip-on covers of different Riders for the game (printed across both sides of 14 sheets) will also be available.

Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Update

More updates about the latest addition to the Final Fantasy franchise, Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy has just been released online and it seems that we are indeed tapping our Nintendo 3DS to defeat the final boss!

The story is about the space between the gods Chaos and Cosmos is known as "Rhythm." "Rhythm" gives birth to the crystal which controls music, and fills the world with sound. However, the forces of chaos have disrupted the peace, and the crystal has begin to lose its shine. To restore the crystal's shine, the music wave "Rizpo" must be increased. And so, the warriors, guided by the crystal, begin their journey of music.

The name Theatrhythm is composed of two words, "theatre" and "rhythm." The game spans the numbered series with heroes from Final Fantasy I-XIII. Each game is actually its own episode in Theatrhythm. Players pick a party of four characters and go through three stages – field, battle, and events. Confirmed characters so far are: FFI's Warrior of Light, FFIII's Onion Knight, FFV's Bartz Klauser, FFVII's Cloud Strife and FFXIII's Lightning.

All of these are played as a music game. Players can also unlock music and movies for their collection. Songs confirmed for the game are: "Battle on the Big Bridge" (Gilgamesh’s theme) from Final Fantasy V, "One Winged Angel" from Final Fantasy VII, "To Zanarkand" from Final Fantasy X, and "Sunleth Waterscape" from Final Fantasy XIII.

Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy for the Nintendo 3DS is still currently being developed by Square Enix and Indies Zero with no release date set. Also, the official website for the game is now open.

Ao no Exorcist PSP Game Soon

Namco Bandai is currently developing an Ao no Exorcist (Blue Exorcist) game for the PSP! And it seems that you can play the game in either Yukio or Rin's perspective! The game is currently being developed with no set release date.

Being an adventure game, Blue Exorcist is story heavy and players will see an original tale unfold. The game will focus on the bonds of exorcists – namely the main characters Rin and Yukio. The game is broken into episodes. At times, the way you complete one episode changes the next.
