Kamen Rider Kabuto English Dubbed Series

Almost two years ago, the 7th entry to the Heisei Kamen Rider Series, Kamen Rider Kabuto aired in the Philippines on Cartoon Network and was dubbed in English. During its run here in the Philippines, a man uploaded episodes of the series in his Multiply account before it was taken down.

I was able to track down the guy and talked about him re-uploading the series even just a few episodes per day. He agreed, and here are the Kabuto episodes in English to those interested. To those who are wondering who is that guy, he goes under the alias, theSandies.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact PSP Free Game Demo, Released!

Namco Bandai just released a demo for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact in Japan and you don’t even need to log on to PlayStation Network to get it! The actual game will be released on October 11 in North America and October 20 in Japan.

In the downloadable demo, it includes one stage of Ultimate Road (the game's story mode) and a taste of tag missions. You can use Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, Guy, Rock Lee, and Gaara in tag mission mode. As of now, Namco Bandai have not announced an English demo.

For you to get the demo copy of the game, go to this website and click either Download A (Red) or Download B (Blue). Then, once you are done downloading the .zip file, extract those files and copy it to your PSP and you are now ready for some Naruto action!

MCS Releases Dekaranger vs. Abaranger!

Just recently, Dekaranger vs. Abaranger has been released by Midnight Crew Subs! Originally not planned by Midnight Crew Subs to release, but they decided to release it due to some problems with the original subbed version which was available for download.

Wasn't planning on since it had already been done by TV-N. But then I downloaded their version and watched a couple of minutes. I noticed that they've translated things incorrectly, I simply assumed that they've done it through the whole thing and decided to translate it.

MCS Continues Subbing Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger!

It's been a while since SkewedS released a new subbed episode of the 27th Super Sentai Series, Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger and just recently, Midnight Crew Subs has just released the show's 9th and 10th episode!

The series is about 65,000,000 years ago, a meteorite crashed on Earth split Earth into two worlds: Dino Earth, a world that dinosaurs and humans co-exist and Another Earth, the Earth which we belong. Overtime, the Ryujins and Bakuryuus races came into being on Dino Earth but were at war with the Evolians, entities that emerged from the meteor.

The two Earths are separate until Asuka, a Ryujin from Dino Earth, arrives on Earth via a transdimensional portal. However, he is followed by the Evolians in their Anamolicarus spaceship and the three Bakuryuus under their control. As the Bakuryuus Tyrannosaurus, Ptreranodon, and Triceratops attack Tokyo, a call is sent out to three destined ones who possesses Dino Guts to gain the powers to tame the three beasts. Together with their Bakuryuu partners, the three become Abarangers to protect their dimension from the Evolians.

Based on their previous jobs, it seems that they will continue on subbing the said series. As for those fans who can't wait for their release of Kamen Rider Stronger, don't fret since it is said that they will release it on the same pace that they had on releasing Kamen Rider Kuuga this June 11! Abaranger is the group's first Super Sentai project.

Super Hero Time! Releases Battle Fever J!

Asides from subbing Mirai Sentai Timeranger along with Over-Time, Super Hero Time! has also released its sub project, to flex their subbing muscles in the form of Battle Fever J!

Battle Fever J starts when General Kurama assembles four young agents who had been dispatched around the world for training. They are joined by FBI investigator Diane Martin, whose father was murdered by Egos. The five don powered suits to become the Battle Fever team!

This series first introduced the giant robot and was originally considered as the first entry of the Super Sentai franchise until Toei decided to add Himitsu Sentai Goranger and JAKQ Dengekitai in 1994. Also, this is the first Super Sentai series produced by Marvel which later produced Denshi Sentai Denziman and Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan.

This release also includes the original subs by JN Productions who subbed this series for the Hawaiian audience. They are also responsible in subbing Kikaider, Kikaider 01, Kamen Rider V3 and Inazuman.

Over-Time & Super Hero Time! Releases Mirai Sentai Timeranger!

Finally! Someone has decided to pick this series after TV-Nihon left it in the shelf for quite some time! The fine folks from Over-Time and Super Hero Time! has just decided to sub one of the darkest Super Sentai series known to existence, that is Mirai Sentai Timeranger!

Mirai Sentai Timeranger takes place in the 30th Century, time travel becomes illegal after a time paradox crisis. The Time Protection Department is established to watch for and stop time crimes. Four new enlistee cadets of the TPD are tricked by Don Dolnero and his gang into letting them time-travel to the year 2000 to commit various crimes.

To protect history, the four cadets namely, Yuri, Asami, Sion and Domon pursue them. There they encounter a severe problem: the Timeranger program requires five members for the first operation. They thus force a present-day martial artist, Tatsuya Asami, to join them, allowing them to become the Timerangers. Afterwards Tatsuya rents a building for them to live in and they start a small odd jobs business called Tomorrow Research to financially support themselves.

According to their blog entry, the said series will not have a steady release so don't expect them to release the second episode anytime this week or after it!

HaroRangers Reboots Gekisou Sentai Caaaarranger!

A lot of fans wondered when will HaroRangers release the next subbed episode of Gekisou Sentai Carranger. Just recently, they announced that they will reboot this project and start from episode 1 all over again!

This reboot has a lot of changes from the previous version. Notable ones include switching from AVI to embedded MKV subs, better translations and new typesetting.

Gekisou Sentai Carranger is about five workers from the Pegasus Auto Garage discover Dappu, an alien from another planet. He empowers the five with the "Carmagic" power of the five legendary car constellations, transforming them into Carrangers. As Carrangers, the five battle an alien reckless driver gang and prevent them from destroying Earth.

Midnight Crew Subs Releases Kamen Rider ZX!

Asides from releasing Ultraman: A Special Effects Fantasy Series as one of their secret projects, they have just revealed their other secret project and that is a proper subbed version of the Kamen Rider ZX TV Special!

Officially called Birth of the 10th! Kamen Riders All Together!! it is a one-hour TV special which is about Ryo Murasame a man abducted by the organization called, Badan Empire who was brainwashed and turned into the cyborg known as ZX. He later came into his senses and with the help of the other nine senior Riders he fights this dreaded organization.

In this special, only Kamen Riders V3, Riderman and Super-1 appeared out of suit.

Over-Time Releases Kamen Rider W RETURNS: Kamen Rider Accel!

Over-Time has just did it again. After the release of the rental DVD rip of Kamen Rider W RETURNS: Kamen Rider Accel, the fine folks from Over-Time has just released the Script of the said film in which you need to place the RAW of the film!

KAMEN RIDER W RETURNS: KAMEN RIDER ACCEL takes place after the events of Movie Wars Core. While settling into married life with Akiko, Ryu Terui is brought onto a case involving a woman named Aoi Katsuragi. But framed for murdering a fellow officer, he goes on the run to a furious Akiko's shock under the idea that he is two-timing her.

In the process, Ryu learns that Aoi's father is the Commander Dopant, leader of the One Dopant Army, who uses his Masked Soldiers to find the Gaia Memory Enhancement Adapter to make him stronger. Fighting the Commander Dopant, Accel acquires a new form.

As of now, they haven't released the hard sub encodes, so expect that this post will be updated once the hardsubs are released.

Kamen Rider IXA Circa 1986 - The Series

As we all know, some fans decided to continue watching Kamen Rider Kiva, not because of Kiva himself and him beating stained glass vampires but to see what his father, Otoya Kurenai do in 1986 along with the rest of the Blue Sky Organization.

That is why, one fan decided to create a fan opening sequence for a Kamen Rider IXA show set in the '80's which led to a discussion in 4chan's /m/ board which brings us to this, an edited version of Kamen Rider Kiva, with all 2008 scenes removed, edited along with the fan opening and resulted to a Kamen Rider IXA series set in 1986! Anyways, here's the first episode of this series which contains clips coming from episodes 1-4.

According to the Anonymous creator of this video (later revealed to be tackangel), this episode feels disjointed a bit due to the fact that Kiva killed the Fangires that appeared in '86 in the show's 2008 timeline. He also added that all the episodes of this "series" will last for only 22-25 minutes and it is possible that since he will cut corners from every episode of the original series, Kamen Rider Kiva, it might last for more than 10 episodes but not less than 24 episodes.

Midnight Crew Subs Releases Ultraman!

From the people who ended the "Kuuga Curse" and subs Kamen Rider Stronger, Midnight Crew Subs (MCS) comes one of their secret projects, the second show from the Ultra Series, Ultraman: A Special Effects Fantasy Series!

The story happens in the near future, sinister aliens and giant monsters constantly threaten civilization during this period. The only Earth organization equipped to handle these disasters is the Science Special Search Party (SSSP) also known as the Science Patrol, they are always ready to protect Earth from this threat.

When the situation becomes desperate, Shin Hayata, the Patrol's most capable member, holds the key to salvation in the form of the "beta capsule," which, when ignited, allows him to transform secretly into the super-humanoid-powered giant from space, who becomes known to the people of Earth as Ultraman!

The series ran for 39 episodes from July 17, 1966 to April 9, 1967.

Since we don't have Super Hero Time this week, Over-Time returns as W-Time for probably one of their longest works yet, the subbed version of Kamen Rider W's Net Movie called, Kamen Rider W FOREVER: The A to Z 26 Rapid-Succession Roars of Laughter!

Hikari-Senshi Releases Ninja Sentai Kakuranger!

Asides from subbing Kyuukyuu Sentai GoGoV and Kaiketsu Zubat, asides from releasing Ultraman Gaia, Hikari-Senshi also released the very first ninja-themed Sentai team, Ninja Sentai Kakuranger!

The series is about Saizou and Sasuke, descendants of famed ninjas, Sarutobi Sasuke and Kirigakure Saizo who sealed the Youkai Commander Nurarihyon 400 years ago. Because of the trick made by the surviving member of the Youkai clan, Kappa tricks the two in breaking the seal. Now these two, joined by three other descendants of great ninja, become the Kakuranger to fight the Youkai with the aid of the Sanshinshou.

According to sgtkira when he posted this topic on 4chan's /m/ board, asides from GoGoV and Zubat, Kakuranger will be one of their running projects, so expect future Kakuranger episode releases in the future!

Asides from subbing more New Kamen Rider (Skyrider), to celebrate Hiroshi Fujioka's birthday last February 19, they have released, not one but five episodes of the first season of the original Kamen Rider Series!

Kamen Rider is about Takeshi Hongo, a college student who was abducted by the evil organization, Shocker and was turned into a modified human (kaizo ningen) with attributes of that of a grasshopper. Over-Time Releases Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger!

It seems that TV-Nihon has a competition. It was announced during their New Year's Day post that they have plans of subbing Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger and just recently, just fresh from its airing from Japan, Over-Time has just released the first episode of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger!

The first episode of the series is all about the evil Space Empire Zangyack invades Earth, the 34 Super Sentai teams engage them in the Legend War before combining their powers to destroy the armada. Some time after, the Gokai Galleon arrives to Earth with its crew of pirates after they realize that the Greatest Treasure in the Universe is buried on the planet. Will the Gokaigers find this treasure? Or the Space Empire Zangyack will give them a hard time finding it?

Gao Soul Forever! Subs Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan!

Ichi, Nii, San. VULCAN!

After finishing Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger, Gao Soul Forever! takes us back to the year 1981 and subs one of the classic Super Sentai titles and the ONLY Sentai team that has three members, Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan!

Takes place after the events of Denshi Sentai Denziman (making it the ONLY direct sequel to a previous Sentai show), a new threat arrives in the form of the Machine Empire Black Magma which caused the EPDS (Earth Peace Defense Squad) to decide to establish the Taiyou Sentai at a summit. From the EPDS's air force, navy, and rangers, Commander Arashiyama assembles three specialists to become Sun Vulcan!

Due to the success of this show, this is often parodied in anime and in other Japanese TV shows. A prominent example of a Sun Vulcan parody is an anime series called, Astro Fighter Sunred.

According to their website, they will release Sun Vulcan every Sunday, so stay tuned for their weekly releases of this 50-episode Super Sentai show!

Cyborg 009 (1968) & Casshern Now Subbed!

I just recently discovered a fan subbing group called, The Skaro Hunting Society which subs anime shows back in the 60's (yes, it is in black and white) and the 70's and to my surprise, the 1968 version of Cyborg 009 and the original Casshern anime are subbed!

Based on Shotaro Ishinomori's popular manga, Cyborg 009 is about nine cyborgs that were modified by the evil Black Ghost organization. These nine cyborgs band together to stop the said organization whose goal goal is to start the next world war, by supplying any rich buyers with their choice of countless weapons of war and mass destruction.

The original manga was too dark at that time and the anime was aimed to of course, to the kids. Making fans of the manga quite disappointed. But is the original anime too kid friendly? It is for us to see! So far, only seven episodes of this classic anime are subbed and you can check it here!

Probably, one of the most brutal anime titles that Tatsunoko Productions produced. Created by Tatsuo Yoshida, Neo-Human Casshern is about a man named Tetsuya Azuma who decides to transform himself into a cyborg known as Casshern and along with his dog, Friender, they will stop Braiking Boss and his army of robots in conquering Earth!
