Ichi, Nii, San. VULCAN!
After finishing Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger, Gao Soul Forever! takes us back to the year 1981 and subs one of the classic Super Sentai titles and the ONLY Sentai team that has three members, Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan!
Takes place after the events of Denshi Sentai Denziman (making it the ONLY direct sequel to a previous Sentai show), a new threat arrives in the form of the Machine Empire Black Magma which caused the EPDS (Earth Peace Defense Squad) to decide to establish the Taiyou Sentai at a summit. From the EPDS's air force, navy, and rangers, Commander Arashiyama assembles three specialists to become Sun Vulcan!
Due to the success of this show, this is often parodied in anime and in other Japanese TV shows. A prominent example of a Sun Vulcan parody is an anime series called, Astro Fighter Sunred.
According to their website, they will release Sun Vulcan every Sunday, so stay tuned for their weekly releases of this 50-episode Super Sentai show!
