Warning, the following episode contains monsters making out, a 14-year old female ninja driving a cat bus (I am not doing a Studio Ghibli reference people! The bus just looks like a cat! Heck, the name of the bus is Nekomaru!) and a new ninja named Seikai who sucks in using a Gundam in a video game and was beaten by a kid who used a Gelgoog to beat him! Guess he is not a Newtype… oh, and his face are good reaction image pictures, that’s why I placed a couple of image links below the main picture!
First impressions on Seikai first, Asides that he makes good reaction faces which I screen captured for hilarity sake; he is also a fun character. He loves chicks as seen in one scene in which he asks the girls in the game center who is serving him their phone numbers and compared to the Sasuke and Saizou in the previous episode, he is a capable fighter as Ninja Yellow. The episode also made Tsuruhime status as the team leader quite clear, without her, those two idiots will not look for Seikai in the first place. Also, I now have a crush on Tsuruhime. Hopefully, she will return for Gokaiger, and based on my math, she is 31 years old storywise.
The episode also introduced two things, namely Nekomaru and the ninjustsu to transform our ninjas into their giant form. I love that Nekomaru actually acts like a proper ninja related vehicle since he can disappear and go to hidden barriers in no time! As for the ninjutsu, I love that Sasuke must learn what’s inside the scroll and that that form is not just some random ninja power-up since they were able to establish earlier that the dark cloud can unleash a Youkai’s true ability and this true ability is duh, turn into a giant!
As for Sasuke’s fight as Red Saruder, it was really good. He was able to stand on his own and was able to defeat two demons at the same time! Another thing that I liked about Red Saruder, even if it looks a bit bulky in terms in the outside, he was agile and even did a kick on the Kappa! Speaking of Sasuke being quite a capable fighter, I can’t believe that after an episode he and Saizou became capable fighters! Guess that happens when your ass was kicked by a Kappa who speaks gratuitous English most of the time!
Overall, like the previous episode, it is yet another fun episode and I can’t wait for Jiraiya aka Ninja Black’s debut, the American Ninja! Great, Japan was affected by the stream of American movies that starred kids pretending to be ninjas… and Hulk Hogan.
