If there is one thing I can really praise in this episode is that after the slow series premiere, they finally start kicking in the much needed action and introduced a lot of concepts in this series. Concepts such as the Ghouls, the organization and that in this universe, Exorcist are a cross between those D.Gray-Man exorcist and the alchemist of Fullmetal Alchemist, a very interesting mix and they made it quite original in their first run in this show!
Asides from the really good action scenes (alongside with the monster gore), another thing I can highly praise in this episode is the emotional roller coaster ride. Those emotional scenes is the main highlight in this episode, along with the sudden changes in Rin's life and his life as a "regular" human being after meeting his real father, Satan. Seriously, I had goosebumps while watching those scenes, I love the sound editing and how the voice actors put all their emotion on those scenes!
Overall, after the slow start that this series had, it finally starts picking up starting in this episode.
