The late Osamu Denzaki's Black Jack OVA series will get its 11th and final volume, more than a decade after the previous volume. The OVA adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's manga originally ran from 1993 to 2000.
Not only will Akio Ohtsuka and Yuko Mizutani reprise their respective voice roles of Black Jack and Pinoko, but they will record their lines during a live video stream on the Nico Nico Douga website on Saturday, May 14 at 2:00 p.m. Japan Time (1:00 a.m. EDT).
It is unknown if Osamu Denzaki was involved in this project. The late director died last April 17 with lung cancer and directed the previous ten OVA volumes of Black Jack, Ashita no Joe, Clannad the Movie, Golgo 13: The Professional and Nobody's Boy - Remi.
