Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos Movie Update!


The official website for the upcoming film, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos has began streaming the third set of trailers which includes the first full trailer of the film. The website also posted the third new piece of key visual art.


Kazuya Murata (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion assistant director) is directing off a script by Yuichi Shinbo (Whiteout). Kenichi Konishi (Tokyo Godfathers) is adapting the character designs from Hiromu Arakawa's original manga at the studio BONES (Eureka Seven). L'Arc~en~Ciel's upcoming single, GOOD LUCK MY WAY will be the theme song for the said film which will premiere on July 2.

The first Japanese moviegoers will receive Fullmetal Alchemist #11.5 Before Embarking on the Journey manga volume which Arakawa herself is drawing. It was later announced that Funimation has acquired the license of the film along with the anime, Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? which they revealed on their panel on the Anime Central event. Take note, the movie is a stand-alone story and is not part of the original or "Brotherhood" storylines.
