Seriously, Stan Lee Did This! Heroman, another Japanese Collaboration.

I was just checking my Reading List in my blog when I noticed something on HJU's Reading List, Heroman Trailer and Stan Lee, I decided to check it and here's the trailer.

All I can say is, the animation of the trailer is good. Extremely good. So, I decided to check Wikipedia form the plot, and here it is:
Orphaned American boy Joey lives with his grandmother, working at a restaurant in the West Coast city of Center City, while going to school. Upon hearing of a new toy robot called the Heybo, Joey believes that getting one will make his life better, turning him into a hero to protect his friends and family. However, he cannot afford to buy it on his meager salary. His luck changes when he picks up a broken down Heybo abandoned by a school bully. He tries to fix it, naming it Heroman, but does not have any luck in getting it to work. However, when it gets struck by a bolt of lightning, it transforms into a giant robot, just in time to save his friend Lina from impending danger (in the manga adaptation, Lina and her father are attacked by a man possessed by the vengeance-seeking spirits of a Japanese suit of armor and Lina is kidnapped; in the anime adaptation, Lina and her father get into a car accident after their car is struck by lightning and nearly destroyed). Now, Joey and Heroman are Earth's only defense against the evil insectoid Skragg aliens, unknowingly summoned to Earth by Joey's science teacher.
Since the animation was done by Bones, best known for Fullmetal Alchemist, Darker than Black, Soul Eater and surprisingly when I saw their Wiki, Angelic Layer and Ouran High School Host Club, I think I should give this anime a shot. The artwork of the original manga was done by Tamao Ohta and it is written by Stan Lee and currently, the manga is still ongoing on Japan and its published by Monthly Shonen Gangan best known for publishing Fullmetal Alchemist and Soul Eater and titles related to the gaming company, Square-Enix.

By the way, this is not the first time Stan Lee collaborated with the Japanese, the first was the Japanese version of Spider-Man with Spidey, transforming using a watch and rides a giant robot and Battle Fever J, the Sentai that revitalized the franchise and the first Sentai with a giant robot. Seriously, what's with Stan Lee and robots?!
