The stream of tokusatsu news haven't ended for today. And since we got the confirmation of the female red rangers earlier, here's some brand new Kaizoku Sentai Goukaiger info. This time, it will be this year's villains, the Zangyaku.
The Zangyaku is made up of (from left-back to front) Insaan, Damaras, Barizorg, and their leader Waruzu Giru. They are an evil empire who almost ruled the universe. With the 34 Super Sentai gone, they have set their aims on Earth.
Here are the character descriptions of the Zangyaku!
Waruzu Giru (Commander)
Young Commander of the Emperor's bloodline. Has an irreverent attitude, always showing his sense of being one of the Elite. Has a desire to get the Emperor to acknowledge him. Thinking the Earth to be a planet he could easily conquer, he lead a giant fleet there. To his allies, let alone his enemies, he shows a cruel nature. He tends to force his ideas on people, and give his subordinates arbitrary instructions.
Nojima Hirofumi voices Waruzu Giru. His other works include: Tohma H. Norstein of Digimon Savers, Yuusaku Kitamura of Toradora!, Ranmaru Morii of Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge and more.
Damaras (Chief of Staff)
Soldier of Zangyakku who bears the name Warrior of the Strongest Status. A monsterish warrior with fighting power, he is a battle specialist with a cool head. He is ordered to accompany Waruzu Giru by the Emperor, and assist him as his Assistant Operations Chief of Staff.
Ishii Kouji voices Damaras. His other works include: Kimura-sensei of Azumanga Daioh, Joe the Condor of Gatchaman OVA, Silva Zaoldyeck of Hunter x Hunter and more.
Insaan (Development Technical Officer)
Zangyakku's Mad Scientist. Supplies the "Action Forces" with powerful weapons, and remodels them. Using a special energy gun, she can resurrect an "Action Commander" who was defeated, and make them grow giant.
Kikuko Inoue voices Insaan. Her other works include: Belldandy of Ah! My Goddess, Cecile Croomy of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Sanae Furukawa of Clannad and more.
Barizorg (Specialty Officer)
A Cyborg whose whole body is mechanized, and who is completely loyal to Waruzu Giru. Has an eerie presence, and a systematic sense, and is something of a mystery.
Shindou Gaku voices Barizorg. He voiced the Eagle Sazer of Sazer X.
So far, the name for Zangyaku's grunts in Goukaiger is not yet confirmed.
