Terra, Cloud and Tidus Aligns With Chaos!

It was earlier hinted on the 1st Production Department Premiere Trailer that Jecht will be part of Cosmos' side and Terra, Cloud and Tidus will align themselves with Chaos! Just recently, asides that Square-Enix Europe releases a subbed version of the said trailer (verifying what most fans wonder), the official covers of the official Dissidia 012 [duodecim]: Final Fantasy Soundtrack was released on their official website!

All characters found on Cosmos' side is featured on the front cover (left) and oddly enough, Kain Highwind of FFIV who has a long history of backstabbing and being mind controlled by Golbez is found on Cosmos side! 

While all characters found on Chaos' side is featured on the back cover (right). Not surprised with Terra and Cloud being part of Chaos side, you know, they have the history of having no memories of their own and oh, Terra has this history of wearing a certain Slave Crown. As for Tidus being part of Chaos' side, based on the subbed trailer, it seems that he is brainwashed to join their side.

The official soundtrack will be released in Japan this March 2, a day before the actual release of the said game. If you are wondering what are the songs found in the soundtrack, based on the tracklist found in their official website, most of them are remixes of old Final Fantasy tunes with some original tracks made for the game.

FFVI and FFXII Dissidia 012 Alternate Costume Galore!

On the first Alternate Costume Galore entry, we have FFIV and FFVII on the spotlight! On the latest scan, we have more costumes for FFVI and FFXII!

For FFVI, we have a better looking Amano Terra and Kefka! It seems that Terra wears a costume similar to Celes Chere from FFVI, which cause me to mistaken her as Celes in an earlier scan (Which all fans agree the contrast to Terra's element) and Kefka's costume is quite similar to his Amano alternate costume.

For FFXII, Gabranth wears Basch's first outfit in FFXII as well as a close look at Vaan's Amano. What's also cool is that if you look at the gameplay, you can see Vaan using a gun!

It’s been quite some time since I have played FFVI. The last time I Played was last year in which I am almost finished the game. Because of our PC being reformatted, my game file is obviously erased and I have no chance to make a backup… till I remembered that I gave my classmate a CD of all my games in the GBA. And tada! I was replaying the game… for the nth time! But that doesn’t stop a fan to play it.

In case you are wondering about my progress, I am finished with the opera scene and about to infiltrate the Magitek Facility in Vector. Let’s talk about the opera scene.

When I first watched this scene back in 2007, the hairs on my back raised like it is some sort of a magical event that you would not forget forever and it is. Even though it is on 16-Bit with voice acting on 16-Bit, the scene is really… hair tingling. Fast forward to 2009, the scene still has the same effect on me. Woah. It’s been 2 years since I have watched it in my SNES emulator before replaying it on my GBA emulator. While watching the scene, I observed that Celes, when on front view, kinda look-like Taylor Swift. LOL. Hope that Square-Enix will remake it on the PSP simply because we want to see a decent gaming experience plus the characters are fully rendered in 3D. Seriously, who wants to see Kefka destroy the world in full widescreen glory?
