In this low quality shot, it is confirmed that Tifa Lockhart will appear on Dissidia 012 in her Final Fantasy VIII outfit! Not much is known about her role, but as seen in the 2010 Tokyo Game Show, she spoke to Sepiroth in which we learned that she will be part of the warrior of Cosmos.
In an interview, they stated on how they select the characters. It is by random and Takahashi, one of the developers of the game stated that he will not do Dissidia 012 if Tifa will not be included!
Also, in the said interview, we now learned one of the reasons behind the title. Aside from the fact that Duodecim means "twelve" in Latin, this game would be the prequel to the first Dissidia game considering that the first game is the 13th battle between Cosmos and Chaos and also, it marked the end of the battle between them.
